Using : www.gist.comGist does a good job searching for the airing on local/cable/satellite of a specific show or actor (in the USA only). If you do a search by actor only, you will miss minor rolls. It appears that if an actor is listed in the opening credits of the TV show or movie, they will be listed in the grid. You can choose to get email notifications when a specific or any show appears in your gird. After you select your calendar, select "favorites" and click on email notification if you did not select that option when creating your list. When adding a specific show to your favorites you can usually select all the episodes or specific episode. If you want to see a good comprehensive list of an actor's work, go to www.imdb.com . To narrow your search just to the actor's list, use "people" from the drop down menu. The list is sorted by movie and TV appearances. If they were also a director or producer you will see them listed also. If you want to add the minor rolls to your grid you will have to continue to search for that specific show or movie weekly. Once you find it you can click on the title to add it to your favorites.
